WELCOME
This is a blog about freedom.
Financial freedom. Intellectual freedom. The freedom to walk away, start over, or build something completely new. And, most importantly, on your own terms.
If you’re stuck in a job that’s draining you…
If you’re ready to leave, but have no idea how to make it work…
If you're scared what others might think… or not sure if you're ready - mentally, financially or strategically…
You’re not alone. And you’re not crazy.
You’re just at the beginning of a life that’s truly yours.
Here, we talk about what it actually takes to get there:
Money. Investing. Bitcoin. Critical thinking. A clear-eyed view of the world.
This blog is for women who are done waiting for permission.
You want power, not just peace. Ownership, not just options.
Let’s talk about how to get there.
What I Bring to the Table
My name is Nike. I’m a lawyer in the crypto space, a tech nerd and a woman obsessed with freedom.
I’m here to help you cut through the noise and figure out how to take control of your life — practically, intelligently, and on your terms.
You won’t find generic “follow your dreams” advice here.
Instead, I focus on the three real leverage points that determine whether a big life change is sustainable:
How you think — not in terms of mindset fluff, but how to train your brain to make sharper decisions and stop self-sabotaging.
How you move through the world — the systems, skills, and tools that support autonomy.
How you handle money — because nothing undermines freedom faster than financial fragility.
No matter your path — quitting your job, starting something new, investing, or just getting your financial life together — these areas will come under pressure. My work is to help you prepare.
This is for you if…
Is This For You?
Let’s be honest. Big changes expose the weak spots.
If your systems are a mess, your money is a shitshow, or your mind is running the show unchecked, it’s going to get rough.
That’s why I built this blog:
To offer clarity, tools and the kind of straight talk I wish I’d heard earlier.
This is for you if:
You know you should change something, but don't know how to start.
You've followed the Tony Robbinses, the Gabby Bernsteins, the Joe Dispenzas and Kate Northrups — and you're starting to see the cracks, in their own stories, their fluffy advice and their sneaky sales tactics.
You want depth, not dopamine. Substance, not slogans.
And maybe you’ve also noticed something else:
That most of the popular “success” advice comes from a distinctly American perspective. One that often lacks nuance, honesty and any real grasp of life outside the North American bubble.
I’m here to offer something different.
A European lens. A legal mind. A bullshit radar honed in both corporate boardrooms and chaotic crypto channels.
This blog is for women who:
Are curious, analytical and allergic to fluff
Believe in dreams, but also in deadlines, taxes and cash flow
Want to understand how things work: economically, psychologically, politically
Are skeptical of charlatans and sales tactics dressed up as spirituality
Value freedom, but know it has to be built on real-world foundations
TL;DR?
You’re not looking for permission anymore. You’re looking for tools. Insight. A strategy. Concrete steps to get started.
That’s what I’m here to give you — with a sharp mind and zero fluff.
Get to know me.
Who’s Behind This?
Hi, I’m Nike. Not an AI, not a coach who read one book and built a funnel.
A trained lawyer with over a decade in the game and now fully self-employed in the crypto space.
I was born in southern Germany, once aimed for a career as an opera singer, and ended up studying law.
For years, I worked as an in-house attorney in the music industry: great on paper, good salary, shiny title.
But here’s the truth:
I was not happy and it took me a long time to figure out why.
It was the lack of freedom.
Eventually, I walked away from the corporate career track and built a new life as a solo lawyer focused on crypto, tech, and digital freedom. I’ve seen up close how fast the world is changing and how unprepared most people are to adapt. Especially women.
I believe that money, law, and code are the new levers of power, and if we don’t understand them, we’ll always be at the mercy of those who do.
This blog is where I unpack what I’ve learned, what I’m still learning, and how to navigate this moment in history with intelligence, independence, and real agency.
When I Realized the System Was Not for Me
The corporate world is designed to reward performance — until it burns you out.
It feeds on ambitious, capable and strong people who willingly trade their health for a paycheck, a title, or a vague sense of safety.
I know because I was one of them.
On the outside, I had everything: a doctorate in law, a well-paying job, a nice apartment, a stable relationship.
On the inside? I was falling apart.
One day, I collapsed.
Stress triggered a neurological condition called vestibular neuritis — basically, my balance system shut down.
I ended up in the emergency room, unable to stand, and spent months relearning how to walk.
That moment became the beginning of my exit.
Not because I suddenly knew what I wanted — but because I knew I couldn’t keep doing what I was doing.
How I Rebuilt My Life (By Telling Myself the Truth)
After my collapse, I didn’t throw my life into the fire.
I took a hard and painful look at how I got there.
- I examined my own patterns.
- My relationship with money.
- The career I’d worked so hard for — and the life I’d accidentally built around it.
A life that looked great on the outside but wasn’t one I actually wanted to live.
That honesty hurt more than the collapse. But it was the beginning of real agency. Change is not always pretty.
Take it from the great philosopher Mike Tyson:
"Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face"
I started rethinking everything. And by everything I mean not just professionally, but personally, financially and mentally. It involved a painful breakup and eventually resulted in me quitting my job to venture out on my own.
Why Money Matters
Let’s be clear: freedom without money is a fantasy.
You can meditate, journal and visualize your best life all day , but if your finances are a shitshow, you’ll stay stuck.
I say this as someone who has made excellent career decisions and some terrible financial ones.
For years, I ignored my finances.
I thought that as long as I worked hard and saved my money, it would all somehow work out.
It didn’t. Like so many others, I fell into the lifestyle creep trap.
Eventually, I had to get serious about money.
Not just earning it, but really understanding it, investing it and learning to use it as a tool for independence.
That journey led me to Bitcoin.
Not because it's trendy, but because it represents something I care deeply about: sovereignty.
As a solo founder and legal professional in the crypto space, I’ve seen how fast the world is shifting — and how few people (especially women) are prepared to engage with money as power.
We have to change that.
This blog is part of that mission.
To make conversations about money normal, smart and empowering — especially for women who are building lives outside the traditional mold.
Where I Am Now
Today, I run two businesses:
My solo law firm in the crypto space, and this platform which I built to educate, challenge and support women who want more agency over their lives and money.
I love to travel and spend a lot of time in Southeast Asia with my partner. We're always alternating between ocean cities like Da Nang and tech-forward hubs like Bangkok, and of course, Munich, our home base.
It’s a life I consciously designed. Not because it’s perfect or easy (it’s neither, but because it reflects what I care about most:
freedom, ownership and growth.
Running your own business is hard.
Being outside the system comes with risks.
But for me, it was totally worth it.
Why I’m Writing This Blog
Because there’s too much fluff out there. Too many shortcuts that don’t work. Too many voices that sound the same.
I want to offer something different.
Something honest, intelligent, and useful — for women who are done being passive participants in their own lives.
This blog is here to help you:
Think critically about money, power, and freedom
Understand tools like Bitcoin, investing, and self-employment
Build a life that feels intentional — not accidental
Cut through the noise and learn what actually matters
I believe in clarity over comfort.
In strong opinions, real education, and empowering women to make sharp, strategic moves in a fast-changing world.
